Biography artist: Adriaen van Ostade (1610-1685) was a prominent Dutch Golden Age painter and printmaker, celebrated for his lively depictions of peasant life, tavern interiors, and rustic genre scenes. His detailed compositions and expressive figures influenced numerous engravers, including Suyderhoef.
