Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, soiling and creasing. Losely attached to a larger sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Johannes de Visscher (1633 – after 1692) was a Dutch engraver and draughtsman known for his landscape and topographical engravings. He was active in Amsterdam and part of a family of artists, including his brother Cornelis. His work reflects the Dutch Italianate landscape tradition.

Biography artist: Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem (1620-1683), Dutch painter and draughtsman of Italianate landscapes. His work inspired generations of engravers, including the Visschers.
