Biography artist: Jan Lievens (1607-1674) was a Dutch painter and engraver who collaborated closely with Rembrandt van Rijn. His work spans various styles and genres, including portraits, landscapes, and historical scenes. Lievens was a highly versatile artist whose work was appreciated both in his time and posthumously.
