Medium: Crayon style lithograph on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. Uncut paper with small tears in paper edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Adrianus van der Koogh (1796-1831) was a Dutch landscape artist from Middelharnis, trained under his cousin Pieter Hofman. Active in Dordrecht, he was associated with the Pictura art society. Celebrated for his tree studies and ability to depict nature with poetic precision. He worked in drawing, painting, and lithography, notably publishing tree studies in 1826.
