Description
A young boy dressed in late 18th-century attire is depicted holding a flower in one hand while another flower, potted, sits next to him on a table. The boy is likely an allegory for the month of May, symbolizing growth and the blooming of flowers. He is portrayed in a naturalistic style, and the print is colored by hand in shades of blue, green, and yellow.
