Medium: Etching on wove (vellin) paper.

Sheet size: 12 x 15 cm (4.72 x 5.91 inch). Image size: 9 x 12 cm. (3.54 x 4.72 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Losely attached to carrier sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Part of a series of 14 etchings, created in Amsterdam in 1802.

Biography engraver: Michal Plonski (1778-1812) was a Polish artist and student of Jean-Pierre Norblin de La Gourdaine. His works often feature intimate genre scenes, inspired by the Old Masters.
