Biography engraver: Auguste Delatre (Paris 1822-1907) was a French printmaker, illustrator and printer. He was is the father of Eugene Delatre. He printed for and was influenced by Charles Jacque. From 1871-1876 he sayed in London, where he worked for Whistler.
