Biography engraver: Charles-Joseph Beauverie (1839-1924) was a French painter and printmaker from Lyon, active in Paris. He joined a group of peintres-graveurs with Cadart in 1868. He collarorated with Felicien Rops to the illutration of J.F. Millet ‘Souvenirs de Barbizon’.
