Condition: very good, given age. Remains of paper on rear from attachment. Top left corner paper a bit thin, not effecting the front. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Anthonie Waterloo (1609-1690) was a Dutch Golden Age landscape etcher and painter. Born in Lille, he likely trained himself. Waterloo supported himself as an art dealer and through sales of his prints and drawings. He lived and worked in Amsterdam, Leeuwarden, Maarssen, and Utrecht. His work was influenced by prominent Dutch landscape artists, and he became well known primarily for his drawings and etchings.
