Condition: good, given age. Mild foxing, corners slightly rounded. Collector’s stamp and handwritten crayon text (of a previous owner?)on verso. Text under print cut off. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Cornelis Bloemaert II (c.1603?1692) was a Dutch engraver known for his reproductive engravings after painters, particularly in Rome. This print is a copy of one of his engravings.

Biography artist: Hendrick Bloemaert (c.1601?1672), Dutch painter, son of Abraham Bloemaert. Known for portraits and religious scenes in a Caravaggist style, often with genre elements.
