Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, creasing, and soiling. Firmly attached to a carrier sheet with hand drawn linework. Some small tears. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Jean Audran (1667-1756) was a French engraver, known for his plates after paintings by great masters such as Coypel, Le Brun and Rubens. He worked for the French court, among others.

Biography artist: Antoine Coypel (1661-1722) was a French Baroque painter, son of Noel Coypel. He was court painter to Louis XIV and known for his dramatic religious and mythological scenes.
