Biography engraver: Giacomo Maria Giovannini (1667-1717) was an Italian engraver known for his reproductive etchings after major Bolognese masters.
Biography artist: Ludovico Carracci (1555-1619) was an influential painter of the Bolognese School and a co-founder of the Accademia degli Incamminati. Other contributing artists include Lorenzo Garbieri and Giacomo Cavedoni, both Carracci pupils.
