Biography engraver: Jean Moyreau (1690-1762), French engraver and royal printmaker. Trained under Bon Boullogne, specialized in reproducing Dutch and French masters. Active in Paris.
Biography artist: Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668), Dutch Golden Age painter, known for his masterful depictions of horses and riding scenes; member of the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke.
