Antique print, untitled. A family with their herd in an enclosed area near a rock face and cave. With ox, donkey, sheep and a goat, as well as two dogs. Basan edition. State: II (2). Ref: Hollstein 65. Artists and Engravers: Made by Cornelis Visscher after Nicolaes Berchem. Cornelis Visscher (Haarlem, 1629-1658) was a Dutch Golden Age engraver and brother of Jan and Lambert de Visscher. Nicolaes Pieterszoon Berchem / Berghem (1620-1683) was a highly esteemed and prolific Dutch Golden Age painter of pastoral landscapes, populated with mythological or biblical figures, but also of a number of allegories and genre pieces.

Condition: Very good, given age. Margins cropped. A crease in the left edge of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
