Description
Monumental tomb for Frederick, Prince of Orange-Nassau (English: William George Frederick, Dutch: Willem George Frederik, 1774 – 1799), he was the youngest son of William V, Prince of Orange and Stadtholder of the Dutch Republic and Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia, sister of King Frederick William II. The tomb is flanked by 3 putti and overshadowed by a willow, in the background on the left there is a batllefield scene.

Medium: stipple engraving / etching on wove paper.
Sheet size: 49 x 66 cm (19.29 x 25.98 inch). Image size: 40 x 51 cm. (15.75 x 20.08 inch).
Condition: good, given age. A few very small spots. Some very light crinkles. Overall a very good copy. A small manuscript collection annotation on the rear: Meyer d Pomp (?). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
