an en profil half-length portrait of Frederica Charlotte of Prussia, Duchess of York and Albany. She was married to Prince Frederick William of Prussia. A finger marks the place in her half-open book, while she looks out of the window.

Medium: Stipple engraving and etching, coloured a la poupee on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 26.5 x 36 cm (10.43 x 14.17 inch). Image size: 22 x 31 cm. (8.66 x 12.2 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. A trifle soiled around the platemark. Remains of paper on rear from previous attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
