Original antique master print. Diana and two companions bathing in the right foreground and looking on as Actaeon, having spied them, has turned into a stag and is being chased by dogs at left.

Condition: good, given age. Three miniscule holes in image. Plate cropped. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Etienne Fessard (1714-1777) was a French engraver from Paris. He collaborated with the Comte de Caylus.
Biography artist: Jacopo Bassano (c. 1510 ? 14 February 1592), known also as Jacopo dal Ponte, was an Italian painter who was born and died in Bassano del Grappa near Venice.
