Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. Small paper loss at bottom right, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Biography engraver: Jean-Pierre-Marie Jazet (1788-1871) was a French engraver known for aquatint and mezzotint techniques. A pupil of L.F. Debucourt, Jazet focused on genre scenes and reproductions after French masters. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1817.
