Medium: engraving / etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 62 x 51 cm (24.41 x 20.08 inch). Image size: 49.5 x 44.5 cm. (19.49 x 17.52 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. Middle fold, as issued. Bottom margin creased. A crease into the image. Damage to the top margin, resulting in a small hole. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography artist: Sebastien Bourdon (1616-1671) was a French painter and engraver. His best known work is The Crucifixion of St. Peter in the Notre Dame cathedral.
