Made by ‘Max Klinger’ after own design. Max Klinger (1857-1920) was a German symbolist painter, sculptor, printmaker, and writer. He was a skilled and imaginative artist and is considered by many a major link between the symbolist and metaphysical and surrealist movements.
Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling. Faint staining at left. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
