This print shows a view on cattle crossing a brook. In the background a man with a stick is pushing the cattle to cross over. In the front a woman with a bag walks next to a dog . There is also a man riding a horse who is drinking. Copy in reverse after Visscher.

Condition: good, given age. Small margin. Diagonal fold. Spot of thin paper in lower corner. Fold in upper left corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Paul van Somer / Someren (1649-1694/1716), mostly worked in Paris and London as an engraver.
Biography artist: Cornelis Visscher (1629-1658). Nicolaas Pietersz. Berchem, (Haarlem, 1622 – Amsterdam, 18 februari 1683) was a Dutch painter, draftsman, and etcher. He is best known for his pastoral Mediterranean landscapes.
