Sheet size: 29.3 x 38.3 cm (11.54 x 15.08 inch). Image size: 25 x 32 cm. (9.84 x 12.6 inch).
Condition: good, given age. A diagonal crease over the lower half of the image. Some foxing in the margins, and intermittent faint stains in the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: John Paul Jones (c. 1745-1797) was a British engraver. He was appointed engraver extraordinary to the Prince of Wales, and was also the principal engraver to the Duke of York. He produced a large number of portraits, mainly after Reynolds, Romney and other contemporary painters. He was both a mezzotint and stipple engraver.
