Made by an anonymous engraver after Nicolaes Visscher.

Sheet size: 65 x 54 cm (25.59 x 21.26 inch). Image size: 56.5 x 47 cm. (22.24 x 18.5 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Brown spots. Fold as published. Second fold vertical. Smudges. Creases. Tears in margin restored. Stains in reverse. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

This attractive print was published in the ‘Atlas Minor, sive geographia compendiosa qua orbis terrarum. . . ‘, Amsterdam c. 1690. Published by Nicolaes Visscher II (1649 ? 1702). .
Biography artist: Nicolaes Visscher II (1649 ? 1702) was the son of a previous mapmaker and engraver of the same name. He was also a Dutch engraver, cartographer and publisher who spent his working life in Amsterdam.
