Condition: good, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. Paper edges with a few small tears. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Johannes Franciscus Paul Chantal (1821-1863), Dutch artist known for historical and portrait works. Son of Antoine Jean Louis Chantal and brother of Jean Adelin Louis “Louis” Chantal.

Biography artist: Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet (1792-1845) was a French painter and printmaker, more especially of military subjects.
