Antique drawing, untitled. A rural polder landscape with cabin and figures. In the background a city with church spines and a dome, possibly Amsterdam. Original signature at bottom right. Age: to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘G.L. Kiers’ after own design. George Lourens Kiers (1838-1916) was a Dutch painter from Amsterdam. He was a student of J.H.L. Meijer, son of P. Kiers. He mostly painted, watercoloured and etched marine and river views.

Condition: Good, given age. No margins. Light ghosting from previous matting/framing. Crease in left part running from signature to top of sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
