Visscher II’. Claes Jansz II Visscher (1586-1652) The Visschers were a reknown family of succeeding makers of maps and atlasses and prints in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The founder of this dynasty was Claes Jansz. Visscher II (Latin: N.J. Piscator) who was a skillful artist, engraver and etcher, besides his very succesful publishing activities.
Condition: Very good, given age. Sheet mildly creased. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
