Antique drawing, titled: ”Port Swettenham. 25-2-67. Kampong.” – A view of the kampong with natives and livestock of Port Swettenham (nowadays Port Klang), a town in Malaysia. On the verso a manuscript annotation (on funerals in Singapore) with a small sketch in ballpoint. Titled and signed in ball point in the lower edge.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Evert Jan Ligtelijn’. Evert Jan Ligtelijn (1893-1975) was a Dutch self-taught artist. He made many city views of Amsterdam, but was also a very active painter during his travels.

Condition: Good, given age. Left edge uneven (from binding). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
