Antique drawing, titled: ”Honiara 12.1.67.” – A view of row boats under a thatch roof. Honiara is the capital city of the Solomon Islands, situated on the northwestern coast of Guadalcanal. Signed in ball point lower right. Titled and dated lower left. Made by Evert Jan Ligtelijn’. Evert Jan Ligtelijn (1893-1975) was a Dutch self-taught artist. He made many city views of Amsterdam, but was also a very active painter during his travels.

Condition: Very good, given age. The edges faintly browned. Sheet edges minimally uneven. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
