Antique drawing, untitled. Original design of a satirical scene depicting a butcher weighing a sheep, while a customer and his driver look on. The sheep appears particularly heavy bellied. From a collection of drawings by Sundblad (see other listings). Numbered 6 and with signature G. Sundblad. Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Gustav Sundblad’ after own design. Gustav Sundblad (Augsburg 1835-1891) was a German draftsman and lithographer active in Munich and Leipzig. He was a student of J.M. Veit.

Condition: Very good, given age. Remains of previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
