Description
This watercolour shows a view on the The Battle of Reichshoffen, or the battle of Worth or Froeschwiller in France. It was the second battle of W?rth on August 6th 1870, which was the opening stages of the Franco-Prussian war. The French were defeated. We see soldiers on horseback attacking and some being killed.

Condition: good, given age. Brownish margin. Paperloss in upper left corner. On reverse papertape in margin. Old restoration of tear in lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
