Antique drawing, titled: ”Aberdeen. Hong Kong. 4-3-67.” – View of a woman pouring dirty water into the river/bay from the window of her hut. A small boat is moored in the foreground while a small boy looks toward the artist from the balcony. Aberdeen is a town on southwest Hong Kong island. Manuscript notes and sketches in ball point on the verso, related to temple and tea ceremonies in Kobe (Japan). Titled and signed in ball point in the lower edge.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Evert Jan Ligtelijn’. Evert Jan Ligtelijn (1893-1975) was a Dutch self-taught artist. He made many city views of Amsterdam, but was also a very active painter during his travels.

Condition: Good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
