Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de uit- en inwendige mannelijke teeldeelen […] in het bijzonder de ligging der ballen, zoowel voor als terstond na de geboorte” (the inner and outer male reproduction organs, in particular the location of the testicles before and immediately after birth). Copy of text / legend sheets included (in Dutch). Plate LXXV, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
