Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de watervaten en klieren der lever, der maag en der inwendige watervaten en klieren van een stuk des dunnen darms, gelijk mede van de lendenvlecht in het algemeen” (the lymphatic vessels and glands of the liver, stomach, and the internal lymphatic vessels of the small intestine, as well as the lumbar plexus in general). Plate CXLII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
