Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de bovenste helft van het ligchaam eens mans, […] de oppervlakkige zenuwen, en aan den hals tevens de diepliggende zenuwen van de voorste takken der halszenuwen” (the upper half of a male torso, the superficial nerves, and the of the neck also the deeper nerves with the front branches of the cervical nerve). Plate CXXIV from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
