Made by Lucas van Leyden after own design. Lucas van Leyden (1494 – 1533), also named either Lucas Hugensz or Lucas Jacobsz, a Dutch engraver and painter, born and mainly active in Leiden. Lucas van Leyden was among the first Dutch exponents of genre painting and is generally regarded as one of the finest engravers in the history of art.

Condition: Very good, given age. Remains of previous attachment on rear. Trimmed at image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
