A rare and complete set of nine prints, being one installment of the series ‘Gezigten van Buitenplaatsen en Gebouwen Tusschen de Stad Utrecht en de Grebbe’, complete with the letterpress paper wrapper. This installment contains the following landscapes and views: 1. Hoogerwerf in het dorp Amerongen, 2. Het Huis van Amerongen, 3. De Kerk te Amerongen, 4. Het Rode Hart (Logement), 5. (Gezigt op) Rhenen, 6. De Grebbe (Komende vanaf Utrecht), 7. De Tafelberg, 8. De Grebbe (gezigt op), 9. De Grebbe (komende van Nijmegen). A complete installment of the extremely rare M. Mourot’s ‘Gezigten van Buitenplaatsen en Gebouwen Tusschen de Stad Utrecht en de Grebbe’, Utrecht: Houtman, 1829. A very rare series of lithographed views, published in 12 of these series.Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Healen, Van Straaten, Mourot and Soeterik after Michel Mourot. Jean Francois Michel Mourot (Metz 1802 – Utrecht 1847) was a French lithographer. From 1827 Mourot works for Desguerrois in Amsterdam. He becomes a famous lithographer, specialising in topographical views, historical events and portraits.

Condition: Very good given age. Very nice impressions, only very faintly dampstained in the bottom right corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
