Medium: Etching / Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 28.5 x 18 cm (11.22 x 7.09 inch). Image size: 19.5 x 14.5 cm. (7.68 x 5.71 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. Light soiling and creasing. Slight paper loss in top margin, backed. Pinholes in right margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography artist: Jan van de Velde the younger (1593-1641) was a Dutch Golden Age painter and engraver of animal, landscape and still-life subjects. He was the son of Jan van de Velde the Elder and the father of the still life painter Jan Jansz van de Velde.
