Biography engraver: Andries Jacobsz. Stock (1580–1648) was a Dutch engraver and print publisher active in Amsterdam. He produced portrait engravings and reproductive prints after leading Flemish and Dutch artists, including contributions to Van Dyck’s celebrated Iconographie series.

Biography artist: Sir Anthony van Dyck (1599–1641) was a Flemish Baroque painter and print designer renowned for his refined portraits. His Iconographie series of portraits of artists, scholars, and nobles became one of the most influential portrait print publications of the 17th century.
