Sheet size: 98 x 67.3 cm (38.58 x 26.5 inch). Image size: 94 x 64 cm. (37.01 x 25.2 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Overall light creasing and soiling. Top trimmed and restored. Top left wth a tear, backed. A large horizontal cread near middle of prent not very noticable. Slight paper loss at bottom right corner, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
After the painting by Mattheus Ignatius van Bree; published by the widow of Johannes Allart, The Hague, dedicated to Wilhelmina of Prussia.

Biography engraver: Philippus Velijn (1786?1836), Dutch engraver and etcher, active in Leiden and The Hague. Specialized in large historical prints and portraits, often after contemporary painters such as Van Bree.
Biography artist: Mattheus Ignatius van Bree (1773?1839), Flemish painter and teacher in Antwerp, specializing in history painting, portraits, and large-scale battle scenes. His works were widely disseminated through prints in the Netherlands.
