Condition: good, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. Several small tears in the paper edges, not effecting the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography artist: Antoine Jean Louis Chantal (1789?1853), a French-Dutch painter and draughtsman, active in Amsterdam. He was the father of Johannes Franciscus Paul Chantal (1821?1863), and Jean Adelin Louis Chantal (1822?1899).
