Description
Set of two prints titled the “Celebration for the Elector Johann Georg II, Leipzig, July 8, 1667,” showing preparations by day and fireworks display by night This prints feature an elaborate garden scene centered around an obelisk. The obelisk is intricately detailed and stands prominently in the middle of the composition, adorned with inscriptions and decorative elements. The garden is designed with a symmetrical layout, flanked by statues, topiaries, and manicured trees that lead the viewer’s eye towards the central monument.
