Condition: fair, given age. A few tiny hloes, hardly visible. Foxing but mostly visible on verso. Edges soiled. Edges with a few small tears, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Simon Francois Ravenet I (1706-1774), French engraver, often signs as F. Ravenet; the date of his birth is given in French sources as 1706 and in English as 1721 (which must be wrong); trained by Jacques Philippe Lebas.
Biography artist: Jean Baptiste Pater (1695-1736), French painter and draughtsman.
