Sheet size: 31.5 x 25 cm (12.4 x 9.84 inch). Image size: 26 x 20.5 cm. (10.24 x 8.07 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Crease in right margin and one corner. Remains of paper tape on reverse. Black spot. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

From a series: Gezichten in het Haagse Bos’, published 1637-1652 by Pieter Nolpe. This attractive print is a later impression, published in the 18th century.

Biography artist: Roelant Roghman (1627-1692) was most famous for his drawings of dutch castles made in 1647. He made several sets of etchings. One set was made in Germany of Tyrolean landscapes. Roghman was a friend of Rembrandt and his etchings scarse.
