Description
This print shows a man, probably a farmer, in a house sitting on a chair preparing his stockings. On the floor a fallen lantern, a basket and a stool with jars.

Medium: Etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 23 x 31.7 cm (9.06 x 12.48 inch). Image size: 18.5 x 24.2 cm. (7.28 x 9.53 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Remains of paper tape on reverse and front. Brown spot on reverse. Tear in right margin backed. Crease in lower left corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
