Description
This print shows the Italian Army in battle with the French army, led by Napoleon, while crossing the river Po near Piacenza in the province of Tolentino (Italy) in 1796. Leading up to the Treaty of Tolentino, signed on 19th February 1797 and imposing terms of surrender on the Papal side.
