Antique Master print, untitled. Italian landscape with a woman near a ruin, two cows and three sheep. A farmer with a scythe in the right background. Probably a later 19th. Century impression.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Pieter Gerardus van Os’ after ‘Nicolaes van Berchem’. Pieter Gerardus van Os (1776-1839) was active as painter and drawing teacher. He can be seen as one of the predecessors of the Romantic movement. His prints are published in small numbers and rare Nicolaes Berchem (1620-1683) was one of the most famous animalpainters of the 17th. Century. His work was highly admired and collected.

Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins. A crease in the top left margin corner. Paper a little weak on the right platemark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
