Plate : ‘La Courante.’ This plate shows an interior with several men, women and children in Dutch 17th century costume. on the left a man leaning on a table against which rest some musical instruments like a cello. This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from ‘L’Art Moderne.’ a Belgian art and literature periodical published from 1881-1914. This magazine included original etchings printed by Imp. Bizolier.Artists and Engravers: This plate by A. Lalauze after Pieter Codde.
