Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Gerard Valck’ after own design. Gerard Valck / Gerardus Valk (1652-1726) was an engraver and a printseller in Amsterdam. He was specialized in cartography and globes. His Celestial and Earth globes were innovative, based on the latest scientific information with less text and images.
