Antique print, titled: ‘De Vlugt van Napoleon Bonaparte met zijne Adjudanten van het Slagveld by Waterloo na de Roemrijke Overwinning door de Geallieerde Troepen, op de Franschen, in den avond van den 18den Junij 1815.’ – Napoleon and two of his lieutenants flee the battlefield of Waterloo on horseback. The battleground, with the battle still in progress, is visible to the right. Published by J. Groenewoud, ca. 1840-1850.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘D. Sluyter’ after ‘J. Kamphuysen’.
