Made by ‘Elisha Kirkall’ after ‘Jan van Huysum’. Elisha Kirkall (c.1682-1742) was a reknown English engraver from Sheffield, active in London, noted for many experiments in printmaking techniques. Jan van Huysum (1682-1749) was a Dutch painter, particularly of flower pieces.
Condition: Good, given age. Partially hand coloured. Overall soiling, particularly in margins. Paper separation at left plate marks, backed by paper. Some creasing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
